The climate
of Vietnam varies greatly from north to south due
to its long and narrow territory, and judging Hanoi's
climate from the knowledge of other Vietnamese
regions may misleading.
Hanoi has a
cool (foreigners from mild climate feel cold) and wet season from November to April and a hot season from
May to October. The rainy season lasts from May to
November.
Travel in Hanoi
is most pleasant from
February to April and September to November avoiding the heat and the rain. The official peak season in Vietnam is
from September to April.
